It was a brisk 28 degrees here in Kinston, but that didn’t stop these men from getting after it and trying to work off the calories from our Super Bowl feasts! 1776 CSAUP will be in June, but in order to gauge how long it could take us to complete, YHC thought doing a small preview would be helpful.
We started off with a quick warm up:
Side Straddle Hops (x15 IC)
Good Mornings (x10 IC)
The workout was then explained to the Pax, and the exercises were written on the white board so that we could all remember them.
- Kettle Bell Swings(x25)
- Row the Boats(x25)
- Overhead Press(x25)
- WW2 Sit-Ups(x25)
- Tricep Dips(x25)
- Lawn Mower Rows(x25)
- Nolan Ryans(x25)
- Tricep Extensions(x25)
The real CSAUP will have different exercises, but this was a good measuring stick for the PAX. Everyone continued going through this rotation until the time was up. Most made it into the 3rd round and a few of us made it into the 4th round. Overall, great work by all and there is no doubt in my mind these men will be ready for the event come June.
